Job summary

You will perform cashier duties, support the Customer Service Desk, handle refunds and exchanges, and assist with basic store accounting tasks. Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma and at least 6 months cashier experience, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or combination of education and experience).
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Must be 18+ (or 19+ in certain states) if selling tobacco.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends regularly and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of company policies and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage associates to provide excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, process transactions, and maintain register accuracy.
• Complete file maintenance for price discrepancies and keep checkstand area clean.
• Answer phones and assist Customer Service Desk tasks such as refunds and exchanges.
• Provide lottery services and process related payments where applicable.
• Support store accounting functions and deposits as needed.
