Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Pass drug test
• Weekend shifts required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the register
• Deliver excellent customer service and support associates
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing the register, tender transactions and bagging
• Maintain checkstand area cleanliness and file price discrepancy logs
• Answer phones and assist customers with inquiries
• Comply with corporate policies and promotions
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed at point of sale
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations as needed
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits
• Open and close the Customer Service Desk, process refunds, exchanges, money orders and transfers
• Provide lottery and licenses services where applicable
• Support vendor reporting and handle lost and found
