The position requires responsible cash handling, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, weekend availability, and a commitment to following corporate policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, including open/close register, ring sales, and making money drops.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed at point of sale.
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations as necessary.
• Maintain all store accounting functions.
• Prepare bank deposit of excess funds.
