Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in some states if selling tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends regularly, any shift, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, including open/close register and completing tender transactions.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and provide service at the Customer Service Desk.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, transfers, bill pay, gift cards, and other transactions.
• Provide lottery service and licenses where applicable, and support lost and found operations.
• Run vendor reports and comply with corporate policies.
• Act with honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Support and assist customers including minors and individuals with special needs.
