Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers visibly in the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit/Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC) per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator and follow posting procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; adhere to food safety regulations.
