Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and engage customers at the point of sale in a busy Mechanicsville store.

The role requires greeting customers by name, accurate cash handling, and adherence to store procedures. You will help maintain a clean front end area, assist with bagging and customer assistance, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.

Responsabilités

• Provide fast, friendly service and greet customers by name whenever possible.
• Scan orders and handle payments per standard practice.
• Bag items using correct bagging procedures and maintain cash control.
• Assist customers to their car and offer to take their order when needed.
• Maintain a neat, clean front end and report any issues to management.
• Follow store procedures for refunds, overrides, and safety.
