Job summary

You will provide excellent service at the customer service desk, operate the POS, handle refunds and exchanges, and help maintain checkout area standards in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role requires weekend availability and adherence to store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk
• Age: 18+ (19+ in certain states for tobacco)
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Fast-paced work environment
• Weekend, any shift, and overtime availability
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Related retail experience

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the checkstand
• Operate cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions
• Maintain price integrity and tidy checkstand area
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and payments at the Customer Service Desk
• Provide lottery services and other clerical duties as needed
• Ensure compliance with Electronic Article Surveillance procedures
• Respond to surveillance alerts and verify tag removals
• Open and close the customer service desk and maintain logs
