Responsibilities

• Understand the POS system and handle tenders (cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons).
• Adhere to company cash-handling policies and prevent losses.
• Follow policies on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Support safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
• Provide helpful, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.
