Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Count and balance daily cash and paper assets.
• Prepare cash and check deposits.
• Prepare daily and weekly sales and cash report.
• Report sales and transactions to Store Manager or Division Cash Management Office.
• Maintain Kronos and Timekeeping and finalize store weekly payroll.
• Assist management with administrative duties.
• Answer phones and communicate with store associates and customers.
• Post daily cash shortages/overages per policy.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, money orders, etc.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Report safety risks or illegal activity.
• Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in high paced and stressful environments.
• Manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
