Albertsons Companies Inc. seeks a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, answer questions, and help keep the front-end area organized and efficient.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible scheduling, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Prior cashier experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance.
• Processing purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Accuracy in scanning, pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing registers.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow.
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and general front‑end upkeep.
• Recognizing and addressing pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
• Following company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Comfort managing changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.
• Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., indoor/outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the front-end during checkout and service windows.
• Process transactions accurately for purchases and returns.
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts.
• Bag groceries, collect carts, restock supplies as needed.
