Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will assist with scanning, bagging, and answering questions while maintaining a clean and efficient front-end area.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, restocking, and supporting cart retrieval in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanor and basic math skills are essential, with training provided on hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and provide friendly, efficient service
• Handle transactions using cash, card, and digital payments
• Scan items, bag groceries, and maintain checkout area
• Restock supplies and assist with cart retrieval as needed
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures to ensure accuracy
