Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience and friendly service as customers complete their purchases.

You’ll scan items, bag groceries, handle cash, cards, and digital payments, restock, and keep the front end clean and organized in a fast-paced environment. In this role you’ll interact with customers, manage various payment methods, and support store operations with flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (18+ where required by local rules).
• Complete cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately (cash, card, digital payments).
• Scan items and bag groceries to ensure efficient checkout.
• Maintain organized, clean front-end and assist with cart retrieval and stocking.
• Answer customer questions and provide friendly service throughout shifts.
• Follow register procedures and company policies; adapt to changing workflows.
