Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to provide a smooth checkout experience and friendly customer service. You will support scanning, bagging, and assisting customers while maintaining a clean, organized front-end area.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adapting to varied customer flow. Flexibility is important, with shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately (cash, card, digital payments)
• Assist customers at checkout and respond to questions
• Scan items, bag groceries and handle produce codes
• Keep front-end area clean, organized and stocked
• Restock supplies and manage carts as needed
• Follow store policies, register procedures and checkout processes
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
