Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth, friendly checkout experience for customers.

You will handle scanning, payments, bagging, and answer questions while keeping the front end clean and organized throughout busy shifts. We value flexibility with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and offer weekly pay, associate discounts, and health benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and provide friendly, clear communication
• Process purchases accurately including cash, card, and digital payments
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end area and restock as needed
• Bag groceries, collect carts, and support other front-end tasks
• Follow store policies, register procedures, and checkout processes
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow throughout shifts
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required
