Job summary

Alliance Care Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a personable Receptionist to join our facility on a PRN basis, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth communications.

Responsibilities include answering calls, directing visitors, maintaining records, monitoring sign-in, and upholding HIPAA confidentiality while supporting administrative operations in a nursing home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills are required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct calls, take messages, and provide facility information to callers.
• Greet and assist visitors, directing them to appropriate offices or resident rooms.
• Monitor visitor sign-in and access per security protocols.
• Operate paging/phone systems to locate personnel and manage communications.
• Provide communication assistance for residents without personal phones.
• Maintain updated records of residents, key personnel, and emergency contacts.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and ensure resident confidentiality.
• Monitor presence of sales representatives in the facility.
