Job summary

HealthyU Clinics is seeking a Front Desk Trainer to standardize front office operations and enhance patient experiences across multiple clinic locations. You will train staff, reinforce best practices, and support compliance while coordinating scheduling and insurance processes.

Responsibilities include hands-on workflow training, collaboration with supervisors, and ongoing retraining to close gaps and optimize efficiency. Strong communication skills and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or Front Desk in a healthcare setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and scheduling software.
• Athenahealth experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travels to clinical locations to provide Front Office training.
• Collaborates with Supervisors on staff trainings and front office needs.
• Manage appointments and accurate patient scheduling.
• Verify insurance coverage and process patient paperwork across HealthyU service lines.
• Front office chart prep and oversight of logs and petty cash.
• Efficient copay, balance, and deductible collections.
• Collaborate with Billing to ensure accurate patient balances.
• Answer calls and address patient inquiries professionally.
• Assist with referrals and follow-up appointments.
• Ensure clinic compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and HealthyU policies.
• Provide education on Value Based Care compliance.
