Meridian Health Services is hiring a Support Staff Technician at our Muncie office to warmly greet patients and support daily operations. You will manage front-desk tasks, answer calls, collect co-pays, and help maintain medical records in NextGen within a compassionate, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of office or administrative experience (medical setting preferred).
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional communication with patients, staff, and the public.
• Answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and route messages.
• Collect co-pays and process payments.
• Manage medical records, releases of information, and new patient charts.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
• Check in patients in NextGen.
• (Main Office only) Answer executive phone as needed.
