Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the front office operations at Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent guest service, manage staff, and maintain efficient front desk procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling front desk agents, guest service aides/bell staff, concierge staff, and PBX operators.
2. Understand the roles and duties of the Front Office staff and perform duties as needed.
3. Manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office, including daily transactions and less frequent operations.
4. Check AM and PM discrepancy reports accurately.
5. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering Departments regarding guest rooms, requests, and maintenance needs.
6. Greet guests warmly, check them in and out efficiently, answer questions, and assist with guest needs.
