The Shift Supervisor is responsible for executing restaurant operations in conjunction with the General Manager. The role involves following standard procedures to uphold Brand Values and foster a guest-centric culture that delivers excellent service and food quality while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain brand image by ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and service excellence.
  • Treat all team members with respect and dignity.
  • Follow company guidelines and protocols for daily operations to achieve performance excellence.
  • Encourage teams to deliver outstanding guest service and food quality, adhering to brand standards and food safety requirements.
  • Collaborate on initiatives to drive long-term sales growth.
  • Review and improve the guest experience continuously.
  • Support the General Manager in training internal candidates for Shift Supervisor roles.
  • Assist in employee training and ensure operations meet company standards.
  • Interact with guests and the community, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Use management tools to analyze operational and financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor costs and ensure adherence to budgets and goals.
  • Comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

The Shift Supervisor contributes to a positive work environment through a hospitable attitude, excellent operational performance, and a focus on guest and team member satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 18 years old.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months in restaurant operations.

Skills and Knowledge: Completion of Shift Supervisor training; ServSafe certification in some states; proficiency in English; helpful if proficient in Spanish; basic reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills; reliable transportation and compliance with driving requirements.

Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds; operate equipment at standard heights; work in potentially hazardous conditions; flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
