The Shift Supervisor is responsible for executing restaurant operations in conjunction with the General Manager. The role involves following standard operational procedures, embodying Brand Values, and fostering a guest-centric culture that delivers excellent service and food quality while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and service excellence.
• Treat all team members with respect and dignity.
• Follow company guidelines and execute daily operational protocols to achieve performance standards.
• Encourage the team to deliver outstanding guest service and food quality, adhering to brand systems and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to implement sales growth initiatives.
• Review and improve guest experience strategies.
• Support the General Manager in training internal candidates for Shift Supervisor roles.
• Assist in employee training and ensure operations meet company standards.
• Engage with guests and the community, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues as needed.
• Utilize management tools to analyze operational and financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Monitor costs and ensure adherence to budgets and goals.
• Comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

The Shift Supervisor will contribute to a positive work environment through a proactive attitude, hospitality, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months in restaurant operations.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Complete Shift Supervisor training; ServSafe certification may be required in some states; proficient in English; Spanish knowledge is helpful; basic reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills; reliable transportation and ability to meet driving requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds; operate equipment at standard heights; work in potentially hazardous conditions; work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
