Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston Airport Convention Center is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to be the first impression for guests, guiding the front desk team to deliver warm, efficient service throughout their stay.

The role includes training, coaching, scheduling, resolving guest issues, cash handling, and coordinating with other departments to meet requests, with opportunities to contribute to guest loyalty and hotel goals.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must stand for the shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training, coaching and scheduling for the front office team.
• Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously during all shifts.
• Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure front desk checklists and programs are followed and reviewed daily for accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post/reconcile charges on guest receipts.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
