Job summary

Watermark BR, located in downtown Baton Rouge, is seeking a full-time Front Desk Supervisor to report to the Guest Services Manager / Director of Rooms. The role focuses on attentive, courteous service to guests before arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of progressive hotel experience; college coursework is helpful and supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of progressive hotel/related field experience required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain information when taking room reservations and follow rate quoting.
• Monitor VIP and special guest requests.
• Review Front Office log and Trace File daily.
• Operate Front Desk computer system.
• Ensure logging and delivery of messages, packages, and mail promptly.
• Be familiar with in-house groups.
