Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor in Park City, UT to lead daily front desk operations and ensure quality guest service. The role requires directing staff, managing registrations, and resolving issues to uphold guest satisfaction.

Strong English communication and prior supervisory experience are important. Responsibilities include training, brand-standard compliance, and covering shifts such as Night Audit and PBX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
• Two years combined front desk and supervisor experience.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Direct and instruct front desk staff; observe performance and encourage improvement.
• Greet guests warmly and provide information on hours and local attractions.
• Complete registration, assign rooms, code keys, and close guest accounts at checkout.
• Verify credit cards, handle cash, balance the house bank, and post charges.
• Answer phones in clear English, input messages, and relay information to guests.
• Remain calm during emergencies and resolve issues; authorize revenue adjustments as needed.
• Assist with group arrivals, pre-arrival packets, and PMS-related tasks.
• Train new agents in cash handling procedures and brand standards.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a professional appearance.
• Be the Manager on Duty in absence of Front Office Manager; cover Night Audit/PBX as needed.
