Description

Currently seeking dynamic and motivated individuals for the position of Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This leadership position is ideal if you enjoy greeting guests warmly and are ready to assist promptly. You must be willing to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. If you're committed to ensuring smooth facility operations, we want to hear from you.

Note: Weekdays, weekends, and holidays are required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including covering shifts such as morning, mid-shift, overnight, or night audit.

Responsibilities
  1. Welcome guests and visitors, record their information, and assign rooms based on their needs.
  2. Coordinate solutions promptly when guests encounter issues, collaborating with housekeeping and service staff.
  3. Collect payments via credit/debit cards, cash, or checking accounts, and request deposits when necessary.
  4. Close out the register at each shift by counting cash, printing receipts, and generating financial reports.
  5. Ensure additional guest services, like drinks, entertainment, and food, are properly billed.
  6. Communicate with hotel staff, such as housekeeping and maintenance, regarding room status.
  7. Maintain a clean and inviting lobby environment.
  8. Enhance guest satisfaction through employee development and service excellence.
  9. Manage reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue through suggestive selling.
  10. Maintain procedures for credit control, financial transactions, and security.
  11. Respond to guest requests, complaints, and questions courteously and promptly.
  12. Use office and accounting software accurately.
  13. Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance.
  14. Set the standard for guest relations and team leadership at the front desk.
  15. Handle message, package, and mail delivery efficiently.
  16. Be familiar with current rates, packages, and promotions, including in-house groups.
  17. Perform all duties of a Front Desk Agent as needed.
  18. Lead by example, fostering teamwork and interdepartmental communication.
  19. Oversee problem resolution in the absence of the Rooms Division Manager.
  20. Assist in training new and current staff regularly.
Requirements
  • Supervisory experience or strong leadership qualities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of hotel experience
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline management
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations
  • Proficiency with office and accounting software
  • Willingness to attend meetings
