Supervises front office staff to ensure efficient operation and excellent customer service. Responds professionally and courteously to guests, providing accurate information and services. Handles reservations, guest inquiries, and resolves issues promptly.

  • Supervise front desk operations to ensure high service standards.
  • Train, direct, resolve issues, and coach team members.
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
  • Manage check-in/check-out procedures and guest accounts accurately.
  • Handle cash transactions properly and maintain records.
  • Answer inquiries and accept reservations, using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maintain good customer relations by staying informed about hotel and area events.
  • Operate PBX equipment for calls, wake-up calls, and paging.
  • Control cash transactions and manage personal bank responsibly.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience
At least 1 year of full-time employment in a related role.

Knowledge/Skills
Understanding of hotel front office procedures, cash handling, customer service, and use of computer systems. Supervisory skills and effective communication are required. Second language may be preferred.

Physical Demands
Must communicate frequently in person and by phone, analyze reports, stand for long periods, lift and push up to 50 lbs., and carry up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Environment
Primarily indoor, climate-controlled setting; prolonged standing required.
