Job summary

YMCA of Dane County in Madison, WI is seeking a part-time Front Desk Staff at the West YMCA. You will create a positive member experience by delivering excellent customer service and handling guest interactions.

The role requires mid-day, evening, and every-other-weekend availability. Free YMCA membership is included as a benefit. Prior customer service experience is preferred, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Motivated to maintain an excellent customer service reputation
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up abilities
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) but WILL TRAIN

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• New member sign-up.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
