SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown is seeking an experienced Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role requires Marriott standards expertise and the ability to manage guest check-in/check-out with a focus on exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has Marriott experience, excellent communication, and a professional, reliable work style. Competitive starting pay begins at $16.00 per hour, with higher pay for strong Marriott experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Marriott hotel experience required.
• Experience using Marriott property management systems (FOSSE, MARSHA, LightSpeed).
• Strong knowledge of front desk operations and guest service standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality from check-in through check-out
• Process reservations, room assignments, and guest requests accurately
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest billing
• Promote Marriott Bonvoy enrollment and hotel services
• Maintain Marriott brand standards at all times
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
• Answer phones, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely manner
• Assist with daily hotel operations and other duties as assigned
