Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the liaison between the public and the facility, handling patient intake, scheduling, registration, and greetings with a friendly, professional manner.

The role emphasizes bilingual (English/Spanish) communication, high accuracy in data entry, and teamwork with the back office to ensure quality patient experience. TB testing and health screenings are required for employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a medical and/or dental setting preferred.
• TB test annually.
• Pre-hire and annual employee health screening required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and healthy work space environment and patient area.
• Responsible for all daily front desk activities to ensure completion.
• Answers the telephone and assists callers.
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments according to the Front Desk Manual.
• Maintains an average daily registration schedule of patients per provider or 70 phone calls, depending on role.
• Assists patients in filling out registration forms and accessing services.
