Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state seeks a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, answer calls, schedule appointments, and support the records team to keep accurate demographics and charting.

This role requires a High School Diploma, strong typing (35 wpm), bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and excellent organizational skills. You must follow patient care standards, greet patients by name, and maintain a welcoming,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in medical/dental setting preferred.
• Pre-hire competency test and 90-day probationary competency test.
• TB test annually; ability to troubleshoot office equipment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; typing 35 wpm required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and healthy work space environment and patient area.
• Answers the telephone and assists callers.
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments.
• Maintains an average daily registration schedule per provider and inputs demographics.
• Assists patients with accessing health care services and information.
