Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Front Desk for a food and beverage location in Columbia, MO. You will greet visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, monitor alarms, and provide professional customer service to clients and employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge management preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence at a food and beverage production location, greeting visitors and directing them according to site access requirements.
• Monitor visitor entry and exit, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Monitor front-desk communications, answer calls, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
