Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer at our Welcome Desk in Kansas City, MO. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and respond to security concerns with professionalism in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

This full-time role offers a schedule with evening shifts and a pay rate of $19.14 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, drug screen where permitted

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor credentials and issuing access materials; maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency procedures.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, and communicate information to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional front-desk presence.
• Observe and report unusual activity or security issues to site leadership.
