Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Front Desk for a food and beverage location in Columbia, MO. You will greet visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, monitor alarms, and provide professional customer service to clients and employees.

Join our team to help maintain a safe, secure environment with a focus on integrity and teamwork. A high school diploma is required; CPR/First Aid and alarm panel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge management preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence at a food and beverage production location, greeting visitors and directing them according to site access requirements.
• Monitor visitor entry and exit, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Monitor front-desk communications, answer calls, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting site operations with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.88 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
