Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Front Desk in Saint Louis, MO to welcome visitors, manage access, and monitor entry points at a financial institution location. You will provide professional customer service while helping maintain a secure environment.

This full-time role offers a $21.00 hourly pay rate and requires 2 years of security experience along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Schedule includes Day Time shifts; background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Hold a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and clients at the front desk of a financial institution by following site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with location requirements.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other assigned entry points, report unauthorized access concerns, and help to deter suspicious activity through professional presence and observation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in accordance with established procedures.
