Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Visitor Check In in Earth City, MO. This part-time role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the potential to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

Expect front desk duties, credential checks, and a strong focus on customer service at a technology-driven facility. You will monitor access, issue visitor badges, and respond to incidents while maintaining professionalism and complying with site policies.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials and directing guests to contacts or areas.
• Operate front desk systems, maintain visitor logs, issue visitor badges, and report access concerns or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining a professional presence and deterring unauthorized access.
