Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Services in Brisbane, CA to greet tenants and visitors, verify access, issue credentials, and maintain visitor records. You will monitor reception area systems and respond to incidents while providing professional, courteous service in a commercial office setting.

This full-time role involves day/evening shifts, collaboration with building management, and a commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the reception area; report unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Support a professional commercial office environment by directing guests, answering phones, receiving deliveries, and communicating relevant information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.
