Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer for a New York site. This role offers reliable hours, a fixed shift, and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, with earnings between $18.40 and $19.40 per hour.

You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor lobby activity, respond to incidents, and maintain accurate logs while upholding a professional, welcoming environment.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional customer service at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, courteous, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and front desk communications while supporting a welcoming, professional environment.
