Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Visitor Processing Security Officer in New York, NY. You will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service at the campus front desk.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent. You will be part of a diligent team committed to safety and service, with a focus on calm, professional responses to incidents and guest

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
State/city-issued security license preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screening required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and guests following site-specific security procedures.
Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify ID and visitor authorization, issue credentials and maintain entry records.
Monitor access to the location, observe lobby activity and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to appropriate personnel or responders as needed.
Assist in directing guests and maintaining a welcoming, orderly front desk environment.
