Job summary

Nativity House Apartments is a 50-unit affordable housing program using the Housing First model. The Resident Coordinator at the front desk provides on-site monitoring, program enforcement, and staff support to residents, guests, and visitors.

Responsibilities include safety checks, enforcing CHS policies, and assisting with administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Proof of negative TB test within the past 12 months.
• Ability to work with individuals displaying a wide range of behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Staff the front desk, answer phones, authorize access, monitor building security.
• Conduct routine safety checks of entry/exit points and secure emergency exits.
• Maintain upkeep of common areas and report issues with appliances, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Monitor behavior, enforce facility rules, and document events professionally.
