Sovah Health in Danville, VA is seeking a Front Desk Representative to greet patients, verify information, and register them for visits in a busy residency clinic setting.

You will handle a multi-line phone system, route calls, and coordinate with answering services while also collecting payments and supporting physicians with orders and medical records.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of office experience is preferred.
• 2 years of medical office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles multi-line phone system; routes calls and coordinates with answering service.
• Collects payments (co-pays, deductibles), assists with account inquiries, and reconciles daily deposits.
• Supports MD orders (e.g., work excuses, medical records).
• Maintains and organizes patient records and charts.

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses - Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.
