Job summary

Sovah Health is seeking an Office Coordinator on the Radiation Oncology team at Sovah Health Radiation Oncology in Danville, VA. You will support front-end operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification, to ensure smooth patient access and care.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a medical or physician practice setting, with familiarity in insurance verification and preauthorization processes preferred.

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses - Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.

How you'll contribute

• Responsible for front end operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.


• Functions as first-line support for electronic health record to include basic trouble shooting, merging duplicate charts, unlocking charts, adding pharmacy and practice information to the database, etc. record.
