Rock River Valley Blood Center is seeking a full-time Donor Services Representative to join our Longwood location. In this role, you'll utilize your customer service skills to assist in scheduling blood donation appointments, registering donors, and providing excellent support to the community.

Description of role:

Are you looking to put your excellent customer service skills to work in a fun, friendly environment? We are looking for individuals with outstanding customer service experience to join our Donor Services Representative team at our Longwood location. As a Donor Services Representative, you'll support the center's mission to provide safe, high-value blood products and services to people in need. They do this by calling donors to confirm and schedule blood collection appointments. They also register donors; confirming donor identity and accurately recording donor information on paper forms as well as in our electronic records. They answer calls and provide excellent customer service to the public as well as to other blood center employees.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED required
• Clerical/administrative, customer service and outbound calling experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail
• Enjoy working with the public and making phone calls.

Work Schedule:

We're looking for individuals interested in working full-time (30+ hours per week). The hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, Friday 7:30am-2:30pm and one Saturday a month.

Salary:

Hourly wage for this position begins at $15.00/hr.

• Bilingual is a plus and offers a pay increase after completion of training.
