Job summary

Front Desk/Receptionist in Philadelphia, PA at PRWT Services

Summary of responsibilities: Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Maintains security and telecommunications systems.
  • Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Operates telecommunication systems by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
  • Helps maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Assists with administrative tasks including copying, faxing, note-taking, and making travel arrangements.
  • Prepares meeting and training rooms.
  • Answers phones professionally and routes calls as necessary.
  • Assists colleagues with administrative tasks.
  • Stocks kitchen and supply cabinets.
  • Tracks supply quantities.
  • Sorts and distributes mail.
  • Schedules appointments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree (or relevant experience on a 1:1 substitution basis)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred
