Our Green Bay East office is looking for a dedicated, outgoing candidate to join their team as a full-time Front Desk Receptionist!

Job Purpose

To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and/or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients
  • Answer the phone and schedule appointments
  • Maintain patient accounts and records
  • Understand insurance plan rules and protocols and follow them
  • Be sensitive to patient emotions and have patience
  • Listen to patients and healthcare workers and follow directions from a Dentist or supervisor
  • Verify patient's insurance
  • Ensure all record-keeping requirements are fully and accurately completed
  • Submit claims to insurance companies
  • Notify Office Manager of equipment trouble or safety concerns
  • Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and office meetings
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Understand and follow HIPAA regulations, OSHA laws, and maintain confidentiality
  • Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications/Skill Sets
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand information effectively
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Experience with dental management software is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and listening skills
  • Previous dental office experience is preferred but not required
  • Training provided

Availability / Schedule

Working hours are between M-F, 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM, and Sat, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. The position requires 4+ days a week, 30-40 hours, including Saturdays, with full shifts (8-10 hours).
