Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking a Patient Services Specialist for our University location. This on-site role will greet patients, prepare forms, and enter patient data into EPIC to ensure timely claims processing.

You will handle calls, schedule appointments, and assist with cashier duties including posting charges and collecting co-pays or balances. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or higher) and at least one year in a medical clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of EPIC/EMR is a plus.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare forms.
• Enter patient information into EPIC for claims processing.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and assist cashier duties including posting charges and collecting payments.
• Handle release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms as requested.
