Primor Health in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, check-in patients, collect information, and guide them through simple paperwork while coordinating with clinical staff.

Responsibilities include registering and rescheduling appointments, entering data into the EMR, answering billing questions, collecting payments, verifying insurance, and handling lab drop-offs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in front office or similar role preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using an EMR and basic computer skills (MS Office, Internet).
• Understand HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Registering, scheduling and re-scheduling patients for initial appointments and follow-ups.
• Entering data for patients into an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Answering patient questions about billing and payments and collect payments.
• Screening incoming calls to route to appropriate departments.
• Verifying insurance eligibility.
• Accepting lab drop-offs from patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
