Job summary

RCCA is seeking a compassionate Patient Services Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and families in Hackensack, NJ. You will manage check-in/check-out, collect payments, and coordinate appointments with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some receptionist or office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
• Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
• Checks in patients and informs clinical staff of arrival and updates demographics and insurance information.
• Collects co-pays and balances and provides receipts.
• Schedules returning appointments and provides appointment details to patients.
• Maintains organized lobby and filing of charts and forms.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and regulations.
