Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is seeking a Part Time Patient Service Representative in Nashville. You will be the friendly face greeting patients, verifying demographics, updating insurance, handling referrals, and collecting payments to support efficient clinics and patient care.

You will collaborate with clinical staff and front desk teams to ensure smooth check-ins, accurate documentation, and timely appointment scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and patient focus to make each encounter positive.
• Verify patient demographic information upon arrival.
• Update and change insurance information as appropriate.
• Scan insurance cards and driver’s licenses.
• Enter referrals into the computer and link to the correct case.
• Collect copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, and balances.

Responsibilities

• Prep daily clinics for upcoming appointments and print related documents.
• Schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.
• Ensure that all documentation is entered accurately and swiftly.
• Work closely with clinical colleagues and administrative teammates to develop a cohesive team.
• May be assigned to front desk as a Greeter and direct patients.
