Responsibilities

• Registers and checks in patients, collects signatures, and enters data accurately.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and assists with pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations.
• Calculates and collects patient liability and explains financial policies to patients/families.
• Posts payments/charges and reconciles daily transactions; balances cash drawer.
• Schedules visits and procedures, maximizes reimbursement per payer plan provisions.
• Communicates professionally with patients and care team to address concerns.
• Assists with patient records requests in accordance with policies.
