Job summary

AFC Urgent Care - Beaverton is hiring a Medical Front Desk Receptionist to welcome patients and keep the front desk running smoothly in a fast-paced clinic. The role rewards organization, upbeat service, and attention to detail.

You’ll check-in patients, verify insurance, enter data into the EMR, and handle calls, emails, and payments. We offer a weekly team, growth opportunities like an Apprenticeship Program, and competitive pay of $20–$24 per hour with bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of people-facing customer service experience
• At least 1 year of experience with medical administrative duties
• Solid computer skills and comfortable learning new systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a big plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients with a warm, friendly attitude
• Guide patients through check-in and enter forms into EMR
• Verify insurance details and explain payment due at service
• Complete checkout and handle medical records/documentation
• Manage incoming calls and route to the right team member
• Handle emails and faxes promptly and accurately
• Manage cash drawer and day-end reconciliation
• Keep reception and lobby area clean and disinfect between patients
• Support clinic team as needed by Clinic Manager
