Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in New York is seeking a Clinic Support Associate to join our fast-paced outpatient clinic. You will manage front desk operations, assist clinicians with patient care, and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience for every patient.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of medical office or customer service experience, and proficiency with EMR systems and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year medical office experience preferred; EMR familiarity a plus.
• 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite / Google Workspace required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients and visitors, directing inquiries and checking in patients.
• Manages appointment scheduling to optimize provider time and room utilization.
• Maintains on-time patient flow by notifying clinicians of arrivals and delays.
• Handles incoming faxes and documents communications.
• Performs accurate data entry into the EMR system with patient information.
• Generates reports and maintains patient retention tracking with accuracy.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Keeps treatment areas clean, organized and stocked with supplies.
